About these terms

Lobeira Games is the public name of our independent game-development team. We make and publish Lane Wars, a single-player medieval strategy game. These terms cover the Lane Wars app on Google Play and the Apple App Store, test and browser builds of the game, and our websites, lobeiragames.com and lane-wars.com.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. You don't need an account to play Lane Wars or to visit our websites.

Playing Lane Wars

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play Lane Wars for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may play it on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you got it from. The game is licensed to you, not sold.

You may not, except where the law allows it despite this limit:

• copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game;
• extract its art, music, voices or code for use elsewhere, or distribute a modified version;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it;
• remove its copyright notices, or use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.

You're welcome to stream, record and share screenshots or videos of your own play, including on monetised channels. Just don't present the game as your own.

App stores & purchases

If you get Lane Wars from Google Play or the Apple App Store, that store's terms also apply to you. If you pay for the game or anything in it, the store handles payment and refunds under its own policies. We never see your payment details.

Apple App Store

If you downloaded Lane Wars from the Apple App Store:

• These terms are between you and Lobeira Games, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Lane Wars and its content.
• You may use Lane Wars on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow, including through Family Sharing.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Lane Wars.
• If Lane Wars fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price you paid, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the game.
• Apple isn't responsible for claims about Lane Wars, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer-protection, privacy or similar claims.
• If someone claims that Lane Wars infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, will investigate, defend, settle or resolve that claim.
• You confirm that you're not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you're not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Saves & updates

Lane Wars keeps your progress only on your device. We can't recover saves lost when the game is uninstalled, its data is cleared or a device is lost or replaced. Back up your device if your progress matters to you.

We may release updates that fix problems or change content, balance and features. Some updates may be needed to keep playing. While the game is in early access or testing, an update may change or reset saved games.

Work in progress

Lane Wars is still growing. Screenshots, descriptions, features, platforms and release plans on our websites may change as we work. They aren't a promise that a particular feature or release date will be delivered.

Test builds are unfinished. They may be unstable, may stop working or expire, and may contain content that never ships. Please don't share private test access or unreleased content unless we have said that you can.

Our content

Lane Wars and the words, artwork, music, logos and other material in it and on our websites belong to Lobeira Games, our licensors or other rights holders. Intellectual property laws protect them. You're welcome to browse our websites and share links to them. Please ask before reusing our artwork or branding beyond what these terms or the law allow.

Please don't interfere with our websites or test builds, try to gain unauthorised access to them, or use them in a way that breaks the law.

Feedback & contact

You can reach us at contact@lobeiragames.com for support, feedback or anything else. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve our games without any obligation to you. Sending a message doesn't create a confidentiality agreement. Please don't send confidential material unless we have agreed to receive it.

Other websites

Lane Wars and our websites link to other services, such as app stores and social platforms. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We don't control them, so check their policies when you follow a link.

Warranties & liability

We work hard to make Lane Wars fun and reliable. To the extent the law allows, the game, test builds and our websites are provided as they are and as available. We give no guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost game progress. Our total liability for any claim about Lane Wars is limited to the amount you paid for it, if anything.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't legally be excluded. This includes rights under Brazil's Consumer Defence Code or the consumer laws where you live.

Ending & changes

You can stop using Lane Wars at any time by uninstalling it. If you seriously break these terms, we may end your licence. We may also stop offering, updating or supporting the game or our websites.

We may update these terms as Lane Wars and our websites change. The date above shows when this version was last revised. If a change significantly affects how you use the game, we will tell you within the game or on our websites before it takes effect. Questions? Write to contact@lobeiragames.com.
